Exhibition
“Imagine if someone built a road through your garden. How would you feel?” This is the question posed by students of Grunewald-Grundschule’s class 6c. They created an exhibition with original works from the Bode-Museum to draw attention to issues close to their hearts: climate change, animal protection, species extinction, environmental pollution and the destruction of animal habitats. Lebewesen, die mal keine Menschen sind (Creatures That Are Not Human) presents depictions of animals from the thirteenth to seventeenth centuries, some of which are being exhibited at the Bode-Museum for the first time. The exhibition is special because students have put it together themselves — from the theme to the selection of works, exhibition architecture, positioning of the objects in the exhibition space and designing the exhibition poster.
From May 25 to October 24, 2021 at the Bode-Museum, Am Kupfergraben, 10117 Berlin
